To Das......go to the AH and buy the best weapon you can afford....In general though i spend less than 30k an item. remember you can resell the item when you are done with it.
I had a rough time in nightmare. Rak also had to adjust his spec on his barbarian.
The major change I made was to get gear with int and vitality on it once i hit nightmare. My stats were just too low and it was way too easy to die. I am now level 51 and have roughly 20k health and 6300dps.
I modified my spec to use diamond armor which has made my survivabil...

Of course I have spent some time in the AH. It really is a bad design. I think they have tried to do too much and the functionality of the AH has suffered. Some simple items that i have noticed.
Gems take 3 of one kind to make the higher level gem. The gems are not yet priced in this manner. Essentially sell your low level gems as you can always buy a higher one for not a lot difference in price.

I know Raks Monk is a lot higher and only a few levels above you. The main contributor is getting a good weapon.
It isnt all about dps. Nightmare mode is a nightmare for me as a wizard....die an awful lot more than Raks barbarian. The wizard at least feels right....I am a glass cannon. Hit level 40 and can have dps over 1300.
Not sure what level you are Elysia but I found a lot of gear in the 25+ range that took the damage very high at that level. My dps on my wizard was 600-700 and I was in the low 30s when I finished Act IV.
No. I expect a surge today and a gradual decline. I expect something dramatic to happen to facebook and the price to end up in half by Dec 31. I have no faith in facebook, Recent survery indicated 50% of the pop views it as a fad.
But then I thought the same of BreX. It went sky high...and then completely crashed.
But you never know what will do well. Just too much hype and it feels like the hitech model of valuation. No basis...just conjecture on what it means in the future. Too often overly optimistic.

Really like the game. Up to Act 3 atm on my sorc----which blizz calls a Wizard.....I cant tell the diff,. Mostly playing with Raks Barbarian and his friends. Raks monk is miles ahead of me into Nightmare Level.
The AH is awful. Have sold some stuff but a 2 day wait to cancel is bleh
