I'm a bit late with this post this year. I'm sick, cut me some slack.

It's amazing to look back and realise that at this time last year, we hadn't yet killed a Cataclysm Raid boss. Here's a look back at 2011:

Mad Dog: Zhal

Zhalseran has really been a true dedicated member of the guild and probably one of the few still around. In-game he's taken on what ever role is needed of him and has been able to perform that role at a high level. He also has a great understanding of the game and is mechanics. Mira always said "If you ask Zhal to be 'x' he'll be the best 'x' you've ever seen.

He participates in our community of gaming outside of WoW. Starcraft, SWtoR, and about a billion other games.

He's helped with extras, like game casting the SC2 tournament and participating in gaming discussions on the forums, he's got a gaming channel on YouTube, etc.

During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the US and around the world. With their Mos, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

On Movember 1st, guys register at Movember.com with a clean-shaven face. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts.

Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.

Mad Dogs: Tavington and Seichan

How long has it been since Lucrezia had to make a "show up ready to raid!" post? Maybe we all do come to raids with plenty of food and flasks on hand. We'll never know; thanks to Seichan and Tavington, our raid preparation never gets put to the test.

Constant purveyors of fish feasts and cauldrons, these two have kept us in fighting shape for a very, very long time.

That's not all that makes them mad, though. Tavington is a truly helpful dog who probably has never said "No" to anyone who has asked for help with a heroic or anything else for that matter. And, if you got your Firelands rep up good and high when the raid first came out, you probably owe some of that rep to Seichan who organized several 25-man server-wide runs.

So please cheer our two co-Mad Dogs when you see them next. And it wouldn't kill you to look up the ingredients for cauldrons and fish feasts and drop some mats in the bank so we can pass them along...
