Gnome For The Holidays - Sun Dec 20, 8pm - Dalaran
It's that time of year again.
Grab your Olympic Gnome and a pile of snowballs and meet at the centre fountain in Dalaran.
For newer Dogs, here's the story:
Gnome For The Holidays is Hide and Seek with a twist. You need a low-level gnome to play - said gnome will be invited to our sister guild, the Gnomish Olympic Team. We roll to see who is "it", then everyone runs and hides. The "It" Gnome searches for everyone else. As gnomes are discovered, they are pelted with snowballs and they join the search. The last gnome to be discovered wins an awesome prize.
The fine print:
1. No /s or /y macros this time! We made people really angry last time with our spam. 2. Generic "no cheating" rules:
Dalaran city limits only.
Hiding places must be spots where a low-level toon could reasonably get themselves. That means no asking warlocks to summon you to somewhere in Dalaran where you'd need a flying mount.
You must also be able to reach your hiding spot without dying!
You must be a gnome. No switching to Horde toons...
The Horde section of Dalaran is NOT out of bounds - if you can get there on your own two little gnome feet, more power to you.
Anything else - like tracking, /tar macros or other things that are not in the spirit of the game are not cool. If you have Cartographer, I'd suggest shutting off the guild location aspect of it.
If your lowbie gnome is not yet in Dalaran, or you have to make a new one, don't worry - we'll arrange transportation.
