It's been an interesting couple of weeks, and they have gone by in a flash. We've learned about Link Lists, templates, link lists, sorting algorithms, and recursion. Everyone has been pretty intently focused on their RPG projects though.
On that front we had a third guy added to our team (since we previously had 10 people and groups of 2. One guy disappeared (we assume he died) so now we have 9. Hence groups of 3) so now I have 2 dead weight partners. The one guy continues to be a bit of a knob. However despite all that I'm really excited about what we (I) have managed to make so far. It's pretty close to completion and this is our last week of C++, but we basically have a game that is playable and feature complete from start to finish. I mean... The endings are currently "THIS IS ENDING ONE" and "THIS IS ENDING TWO", but that's beside the point. The endings are typed up, just not formatted and implemented yet. All we really have left is balancing.
This project has been so rewarding, and has given me a much bigger appreciation for how RPGs are built.
